Job overview

Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Project Accountant's main purpose is to design, implement and deliver effective systems and processes within the Finance Team and provide financial support to organisational projects.

The Project Accountant will support the Head of Finance to deliver operational and strategic plans, and as a senior member of the Finance team, ensure that financial controls are implemented and applied throughout the Group, whilst being responsible for the effective and accurate financial accounting and management of organisational wide projects.

The Project Accountant will have wide ranging exposure to all areas of the MSV business so will be responsible for developing strong internal stakeholder relationships as well as developing mutually beneficial relationships and external links to the organisation where appropriate.

Person overview

You will be a fully Qualified accountant or final stages of qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA) with extensive experience working in a complex finance team within a regulated sector, ideally social housing.
